League Overview: Spring Track & Field

The North Georgia Youth Track & Field League provides a professional and energetic environment for youth track teams, schools, clubs and unattached runners. We are dedicated to creating a platform where young athletes can thrive and develop their skills through high-quality competition that balances developmental progress with high-stakes fun.

Our spring season features a structured schedule of 7 meets held across the North Georgia region. Each meet is carefully managed to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators, allowing the focus to remain on the track. A lot of our teams are part of GRPA and participate in these meets to prepare their athletes for their District/State meets and then, hopefully, for USATF & AAU summer events.

Our core goals are simple: fair competition, well-run infrastructure, community building and athlete development. We manage the logistics— from timing and officiating to scheduling — so that coaches can focus on mentoring and parents can enjoy supporting their runners.
